VARILIGHT^® transformers were first launched to provide a trouble-free solution when used with our intelligent dimmer switches to dim low voltage lighting. However their reputation for reliability and ease of installation has grown to such an extent that they have become the preferred choice for many electricians whether or not they are to be dimmed.

As dimmer switch manufacturers we are only too aware of the problems associated with dimming low voltage lighting systems. To bring an end to the uncertainty of compatibility we have developed a top-quality dimmable transformer at a realistic price. The transformer range is now available in the shape of the YT50L, YT70L and YT105 (50VA, 70VA & 105VA respectively and the YT150 and YT250 (150VA & 250VA respectively). For an even simpler installation our YT50L and YT70L are supplied with leads.

Naturally, our transformers are fully compatible with our intelligent dimmers including the touch and touch/remote control dimmers. We have packed in many other innovative features too.

·         Any loading up to the maximum will work. Can be loaded from 0 (ie. total lamp failure) to its maximum rating
